First time in Bali - need advice

Hi! :)

My friend and I are heading to Bali for the first time on tuesday (30 Dec '08), and we were wondering if anyone would be able to give us some tips of good places to eat, things to do, approximate prices that we should be paying for things, etc. Any advise would be fantastic as we are a little nervous at present!
