The below prices are from Jan this year (so might be slightly higher)

Also, the advice of waiting to buy things is very good. Also, check out Matahari's for touristy things so you know how much to pay (basically everything should be cheaper than Matahari's).

Also, I always get my money changed in the Kodak stores. They are called PT Central and have a blue background.

T-Shirt: 20-30,000 Rupiah.
Glass Bottle of Coke: Don't pay over 5,000 RUP (locals pay around 1-1500 RUP
White Water Rafting: Around 250,000 Rupiah per person. It's best to get it from the annoying tourist information centres on the road in Kuta. There is also nothing wrong with asking for brochures for prices. Remember that most prices are negotiable.
Dinner Cruise: Around $40-50 AUD each
Day Cruise: Around $80-120 AUD each
2 Course meal in simple restuarant with a Bintang (beer): 30-50,000 Rupian (goes up to 100,000 depending on what you order.
Bottle of Water: Around 1,500 - 3,000 Rupiah from Circle K (their Seven Eleven)
Sarong: 20,000 Rupiah + depending on quality.

Just remember that we should get a minimum of 7,000 Rupiah per Australian Dollar (apologies if you are not from OZ)
