Let me start and tell you I am a Gaurda fan...!! Well not any more....Virgin are fantastic.. I flew from Brisbane....Lots of leg room - service is wonderfull and currently the planes are only 3/4 full...so there a good chances of getting a seat beside you if you are travelling with you partner...Now one note of caution "Do not book the blue zone" as yes there is more leg room (you dont need it) but these seats DO NOT recline...so avoid and spend the money on food..The cost of food varies from $5 - $10 and you get sandwiches to hot rolls ANY time you like...drinks when ever and there if Live TV and MOVIES all the way for $9.95...
Now we used VIP VOA...very nice..makes you feel good inside when you a wisked threw customs when all others are waiting....Drinks and food on arrival and they collect your bags and in a taxi in no time...LOVE this service....trouble is too many people using it might slow it down..
Our Hotel....with a slight fear we used the Grand Istana Rama on Kuta Beach...You must understand we have been using the Bali Hai for years and have been slowly working our way to find a Hotel that came close to what the Bali Hai offered in service and convenience....Well after the first mix up of our room at reception giving us a double room and not King size bed things got better...Now I am not saying that the pool is better than BH but very nice indeed with the added bonus of the Kuta beach 5 meters away...What a great 4 star hotel...staff a brilliant the rooms are HUGE>>>> the best bathrooms i have every seen...Yes better than the Patra where we stayed earlier this year...We took a garden suite for $100 per day and glad we did....Quiet area but close to every thing......
Well guys and gals that me till I get back....I wanted to drop a line about virgin as I knew like me there were a few concerns questions being raised....But dont worry great flight smaller plane but more leg room.....
