I've lost count of the munber of flights I have been on and I am pleased to say most people are really considerate about the person sitting behind. We had one classic coming back from Bali one trip. The minute the seat belt sign went off the guy in front of us laid his seat back as far as it would go in our laps & then proceeded to help his 2 sons do the same so we were well & truly pinned to our seats. He was most put out when I politely asked him if we could put our tables down long enough to fill out our forms for cuustoms etc. He kept glancing back at us & the minute we were finished, laid all the seats back as far as they would go again. Needless to say, I had restless knees all the way home, they kept hitting the back of the seat that was in my lap!
