I gave just one reason as to why perhaps others may find it uncomfortable.
As others have said if you have paid for your seat then it's up to them to do as they wish.
It's great if they are considerate about it, though not all are..them's the breaks.
If you choose to fly then yes you have to take the good with the bad, tall with the short, large with the small etc.
Most people know what to expect.
However not all are blessed with the perfect size body to fit in the standard size seat nor do they have the perfect size wallet to be able to fly first class/business class.
