as we have friends who own villas over there (as mentioned in post below) and now they dont have a pool, the villa was sold with a pool in the contract but now its gone!! I just hope for all thier sakes that something is sorted, we were lucky as we stayed at the Kuta Royal for 16 nights and came home last Sat, the pool closed just a couple of days ago.
We have thought about doing this too however to get the most out of it you would have to be going to bali regularly and with work committments its not possible for us, would rather just rent a lovely villa and not have all the hassles that go with owning one.
