The land that the villa is on is ours as well. You will purchase a villa which shows how much land you have.

If you purchase a 25 yr lease you do not own the villa still and not own the land it is on when it runs out. The villa and the land come together. You have to get a contract that gives you the right to extend your lease prior to your lease running out.

Just make sure you deal with reputable people and be sure that certificates for the land and villa are available. As they are nearly all privately owned then they may have different circumstances of ownership. Check with the history of previous owneers and be sure that the ownership certificates have the current owners names on them before getting everything checked out by a reputable notaris.

There are different options of purchasing such as freehold but this needs to be in the name of an indonesian.

Do all your research properly first.
