i have had malaria 4 times now. first time it was not diagnosed by anyone, and that includes doctors in bali and perth. apparently it is not uncommon to have it undiagnosed the first time around. the blood has to be taken in the middle of the fever, so that the parasites are in the bloodstream.
malaria takes about 3 months to recover from, so i dont envy you, GaryD, for taking 6 months.
