FIRST TIME TO BALI

I'm travelling to Bali for the first time in April...I'll be there for just over 3 weeks and am wondering what would be the most worthwhile places to visit. I am going to Lombok already for about 5 days and really want to see Ubud....how long would you recommend staying in Ubud for? anywhere that is a must see or do?
