Hello everyone, I found this link from Lonely Planets as I'm doing research on Bali. This will be my first time going god willing.
I'm from the US, located in Washington D.C.; is there a direct flight or specific Airline that is good for travel to Bali?
I am looking to stay a week, possibly week and half. Does anyone have any advice for a first-timer? I'm looking to a budget place to stay that is in walking distance to the beach, shops and cultural things. I don't plan to do much bike riding or any type of traveling; just want to keep things low key.
Also what is recommended for money? U.S. Travelers Check, U.S. Cash, Credit Card and should I exchange it to the local currency?
My biggest concern is that I'm African-American and was wondering how the local climate would response.
