If you don't disclose an existing medical condition and you make a claim (even if it isn't to do with THAT medical condition) they can refuse the claim and cancel your insurance. But 1st the Insurance Company would have to find out that you had an exisiting medical condition that you didn't disclose. I used to work in a Bank that sold Travel Insurance and that is basically what all the blurb in the contract means. Also my girlfriend inquired when we were travelling in June as she has a pre-existing condition.

Most Travel Insurances have some pre exisiting conditons eg. asthma that are covered automatically.
