Today I received a phone call from my bank advising me that my credit card was been used in the UK for various purchases. Obviously I am in NZ and not there, so they have cancelled my card etc etc and I am not liable for any of the transactions. However the sad thing about it was the last time we used the card was in Bali in November. We can even narrow it down to 3 stores. They are as follows

Matahari Kuta Square
Geneva
Hasan Basari Kuta Art Market

As we were there on business both Geneva and Hasan Basari were large business transactions, and Matahari was personal.
These were the only 3 stores we used the cards. We didnt use it in NZ before or after our travel either.
Just beware when signing your credit card that the actual number isnt imprinted anywhere on the slip. Here in NZ our machines have to block out part of your credit card number (all businesses are going through a change over period for new machines). If your number is imprinted in full its a prime target for fraud as your number can be passed onto anyone.
