We are traveling to Bali since 1996 using our credit card in Surf Shops. But the last two times (2004 and 2005) we were affected by credit card fraud. 2004 they drew cash in Bangkok, this year in Vietnam, Sydney, Melbourne and Kambodia while we were sitting unsuspecting in our living room in Munich. I think only to use credit card at the ATM is the best way to avoid those frauds.
