Because the whole of it can be smelly, dirty, but interesting Those of us who have been a few times to Bali keep re-iterating that the beaches are not what you would expect, and don't go there. No one listens why? You would have had a much better time, and perhaps appreciated the country more if you had stayed inland in or around Ubud. Sorry that you didn't like Bali, but not everybody does, there isn't probably enough room for all of us anyway, so if you don't like the whelks don't mess 'em about... as the saying goes:-)
