You could blame the travel agencies. Most adverts depict Bali as a "BEACH RESORT"! On my 1st trip that's what I expected & was shocked at the lack of palm trees sheltering the beaches, and the beaches were not the crystal blue I expected. Fortunately I was pleasantly surprised to discover the real wonder of the Island. The people - their culture!
