that he had climbed down to something really spectacular, and you could try to look for his posting...but I asked on the Forum whether any of the beaches north were any better, and got a pretty negative reply. Bali simply isn't about beaches, unless you are a surfer, in some spots the surfing is good on occasions I have heard, not being interested then I haven't paid much attention. But really you don't need a beach, if you did then you would go to Venezuela or the other parts of the carribean...No?
