Why not try some of the other islands, my son went to a number of them, but I know he particularly said that Flores was beautiful, with it's three coloured lake. You can fly there pretty cheaply from Bali I think, don't know the exact amount but Merpati fly there very regularly, if your adventurous then try it, what have you to lose?
