This was our first time to SE Asia and it won't be our last. We did enjoy our holiday but I don't think you get a balanced idea of the place when the Bali lovers don't tell you about the lack of hygiene. We were lucky our driver knew where to take us and he understood how we felt, that we found things very different to what we were told.
We didn't embarass him we just let him explain the culture to us. He even warned us about the crooks.
Thanks Sue for not jumping down our throats. My posting on the forum might help someone else plan their holiday a little better.
