I am a Mother of two and have lived in many third world countries and expats bring up kids all over the world. I have a child with an immune deficiency and we go to Bali annually. But we aren't stupid and as for the medical care there we've found it second to none when we're needed to use it.
I wouldn't hesitate to take a breastfed young baby with me rather than a toddler like previously stated. By the sounds of things you might have both in tow!
But the decision is purely yours.............
