Care for minor injuries and illnesses - and stabilizing emergency care for anything else is OK at the western run and staffed travelers services. Otherwise it's all but non-existent. Bali and elsewhere in Indonesia (except maybe Djakarta, if you're wealthy) is very much one of those countries where the best advice for anyone seriously ill or injured is - Fly Out - As quickly as possible - to Singapore or Australia.
