Ive only ever used a porter if and when I've needed them. In feb I had my elderly parents and three children. Six bags and two bits of hand luggage. The two porters that approached me were friendly and polite. $20 between them was worth every penny. Maybe they are aggressive because people tell them to bugger off and rip them off?
