we stayed 6 nights in Canggu last October and although we loved it, my teenage stepdaughter did get a bit bored at times. She did like checking out the surfers at the beachfront restaurants though LOL! It was easily a 1/2 hour taxi ride to Seminyak, and sometimes an hour or more depending on traffic and weather (late afternoon was the absolute worst!). Taxis were readily available and cheap though (around RP 80,000 one way)
