I agree that having a surfer for a husband does take you to places you would not have otherwise ventured to - not always pleasant experiences but sometimes fun & nice. Been there, done that for a few decades. LOL. My beach belle days are long over.
Just wait until your husband wants you to go to the far reaches of Indonesia searching for the perfect wave! Just say bye bye honey pie & I'll see you back in hedonistic Bali. My husband spends several months each year surfing in Indo Woop Woop with no hot water, no aircon, no internet, no shops, crappy food but usually great surf & wonders why I am soo not interested in sharing that with him!! AND it takes 2 days to get there.
