have a surfer in the family! Having said that, I am glad my husband surfs as it has taken us to some parts of Bali I would have been unlikely to see otherwise. It always surprises me how much I enjoy the destinations we visit purely for his sake - I am hardly a beach bunny - but somehow the relaxed vibe of these places suits me to a "T".
I really loved the beachfront restaurants at Echo Beach, especially during the day or on any evening other than a Sunday.
There are a few shops there, a couple of pricey boutiques and a surf shop, plus a nice little nail salon where you can also have massages.
