Data Roaming

Hi everyone, Just landed in Cairns after a way too short 8 day stay at Kuta. Had a fabulous time as usual. EXCEPT.....somehow the data roaming on my iPhone was not turned off and arrived back to a plethora of messages from Optus asking me to contact them urgently as the bill was up to $1211, for 7 days.
BE WARNED. Turn it off before you leave Oz and use the free WiFi (found almost everywhere) specially Starbucks which is also found everywhere......
I will never do THAT again.
