Currently in Bali in a 3 Bed Villa in Seminyak for a special family event with family . Fully aware of the cost per night $AUD 500 before we left Perth and had checked out the Villa on a previous trip , so no problems there
When we checked in they scanned our Credit Card to see if there was enough to pay for the 5 days plus 15% for what we may spend , my issue is when I calculated what they were charging (23 million rupiah plus)I estimated they were approx $170 overcharging , when I queried this they told me they were calculating on an Aussie $ of 8334 rupiah on that day , with a stronger $US dollar at 8764 ??
What can I do , or has anyone had a similar experience
In the scheme of things $200 0r so is not a lot , but there is a principle there
Incidently our initial quote in writing from the Villa is in $AUD
