All excited, just finalised fares and beautiful villa for ten days starting 30th December.!!
Our fourth trip in 3 years, a son and his very excited,super-shopper girlfriend will be on their first.
I am after some ideas or recommendations (even warnings) about New Years on our favourite island. Forumites guided me to some special places and "wised me up" on lots of things last trip. I got tired of my other half asking "how do you know that?" The irony followed when he gave advice freely to "newbies" about Bali sim cards,shopping at Carrefour instead of Bintang etc etc.....wise old sage he is.
Anyway...when I mentioned at my workplace that we were heading back for New Years some were horrified.Experts all, the majority followed the first in saying that we are taking a big risk and to stay in on New Years Eve.
Now I'm pretty sure we have seen enough to take care of ourseves and we wont let the kids be on their own after only being there for a day or so,but can you guys give advice if you think it's needed or , as usual, helpful.
