My only concern from your angle would be the trip from the airport to your hotel. The roads get busier than normal peak traffic and a lot of roads get closed.
The locals love to go the beach for the night. Huge entertainment down there with bands and many local food stalls.
Every 3rd Balinese celebrate their birthday on this evening. So there are many street parties too.
We get the phone text EVERY NY eve about some mongrel intends to terrorise the general public.
We stay where we feel comfortable, but not night clubs (to old - 50)
Lots of fire works banging off all night. Sky's get colourful.
Enjoy. Its the best noisiest party.
