you attack the messenger instead instead of facing up to the problem. Telling me to complain to authorities is just twaddle, I'm simply informing other forumites of what's being reported and they can make up their minds and take precautions.
I dont hate dogs I've got a dog of my own who I love. But I do hate any situation where an animal can hurt me or my family.
The dog situation is a problem in Bali and lots of people say so and the authorities are trying to do something about it but are being frustrated by do gooders who wont let them get on with the most effective control measures.
There is little or no scientific evidence to say that rats and cats increase if the dogs decrease and that is just a stupid argument to bring out. Even if that was the case you deal with it in the same way that you dealt with the dog problem by using population control measures. To say everyone should tolerate the chance of rabies just because culling may bring more rats and cats is just irresponsible.
If you want a personal account of what happens when a child dies of rabies take a look at this site http://www.balicrisiscare.org/smf/index.php?topic=1357.0
Whatever you think of Gloria and her work there is no denying that there is a serious problem that still isnt under control with rabid dogs.
