I agree,there are lots of mixed reviews about the apartments at Jayakarta,I dont have any pics however there are lots of pics around on other sites. ( I assume I cant name the other travel forum that has lots of reviews and pics of just about any place in Bali..or the world for that matter?) If you google Jayakarta reviews I am sure you will end up there.
I visited friends in a 1 bedroom apartment there a few years back, it seemed fine to me, but I have been reading lots of good and bad comments lateley also.
We are also staying there in September, but we have booked a pool view room, first time holiday without the kids.
Was there a reason you didnt go for the adjoining pool view rooms? We have always booked adjoining rooms whenever we traveled with our 3 kids as you get two of everything..tv, bathroom etc, and I feel more space than an apartment.
