If you go to the Indonesian Consulate in your state in Australia with your partners Indo passport, fill in a form and pay $5AUD they will put a sticker / stamp in the passport making them exempt from having to pay the fixal every time they travel.

May I ask, with the multiple entry visa what is the over all length of it and what are the requirments? Must they depart every three months?
We have been told you apply with the norm 48 tourist visa application but request in the sponsor letter that you require a multiple entry, do we request the time frame? ie.6mths and the reason being my spouse has family ie.parents / sister in Indo and wife and children in Aussie and would like to be able to freely travel between both countries.
One more question, if applying for a tourist visa for more than 6 mths ie. 12 mths is it sent to Jakarta for processing and do you know how long that takes?
We plan on a two week holiday and in the past we have received 6 mth T/ visa which has been processed in Bali within 4 days.
