yes there is definitely a shortage of alcohol happening i bali.After frantic phone call this month from my husband that poco loco couldnt make margeritas anymore due to no tequila My friends and I had to buy some duty free to bring over for them.Heard on radio yesterday and interview with a manager at top resort in sanur saying wine and spirits had skyrocketed and were more expensive than america per glass in bali now.Due to the fact that anticorruption laws were cracking down on corrupt customs agents that were allowing alcohol to slip through with very little tax now apparently the tax is nearly 400% on top thats huge.Good for cleaning up bali not good for the tourists who like to wine and dine in bali or restaurant owners!
