how come everyone is dooming and glooming. Try and get a flight from Melbourne right now and see how quiet it is. Of course there is a difference but Bali had its biggest year ever on record...there is a noticeable difference when things go quieter. Some shop keepers will tell you all sorts of bs...don't always believe it. Yes there have been cancellations, but its still busy around the streets, restaurants are busyish and really yesterday only just started the holidays for most.
