went from a power bill of 5 to 6 mill a month to 15 mill! Room rate still the same in USD but naturally more expensive than when the AUD was strong.
Would suspect that Thailand, with the exception of booze won't be any cheaper.
They are such idiots the Thais. They don't have VOD and open lots of extra Immigration booths when they get busy, They don't hassle you in Customs either so you are through and out in no time.
If you overstay they are polite, charge a reasonable rate and give you a receipt.
Whats wrong with them?
