Since I've been reading quite a bit about Bali in the last couple of weeks, I thought it might be nice to hear some of the major differences you have noticed between Bali and home. I would love to hear things which are very different but are not first noticed.
My example is that most Balinese do not hang their washing outside up high (it's seen as a bad thing - I think it has to do with Feng Shui or something around that). As such, I always use the small clothes hanger/dryer thingies they have in most hotel rooms
