(My attempt at justifying a Bali holiday) but it's true,
after the air fares, it really is cheaper.
I've worked it out,
eg: during the 6 weeks Xmas holidays, add up;
petrol (driving kids around), take-away food,
movie tickets + popcorn & drinks,
entrance fees into -
the local pool or any type of museum/aquarium etc
and just general food and living expenses etc etc...
And the bonus is being in Bali relaxed & humbled and not at home stressed.
