Hiya, brother-in-law broke leg a couple of weeks ago playing soccer. We're all due to go to Bali mid-October but he is now-understandably- in two minds. By the time we go he'll be out of his full length cast and into a half one, but only a few days prior.
We have of course asked the medicos and have had wildly conflicting opinion. One Dr said he wouldnt advise overseas travel for 6 mths!The physio said she thought he'd be fine to go(he's pretty fit and healthy).Another Dr said wait and see how it is when the smaller cast goes on which seems sensible except they would have to cancel only three days before departure.
Anyone had any experience of travelling to Bali with a broken leg(albeit in this case 7 wks in from injury)that could describe pros and cons?
