There are SO many choices of where to stay. We'd like to be close to the beach...I love the idea of just walking out onto it...but I'd like to be away from too many people. I dont really need to be too close to shopping and all that, but don't want to be too far from it. How far away from Kuta should I stay to get a nice beach but a short drive to a store if I need to pick something up? Would you recommend going north (Legian, Seminyak) or south (Jimbaran)? If you have specific places that are cozy for a couple but fairly cheap, please let me know!!
