Jayakarta Apartments

Has anyone stayed at the Jayakarta Apartments recently?
How far from the pool / beach are they in the resort?
Ive previously read about plumbing and cleanliness issues?

Would you recommend similar style accommodation elsewhere?

First trip to Bali in September (and first time forum user!!!) ..........very excited.
Others we are travelling with staying at Jayakarta standard hotel room.... we are wanting something a little more spacious.
