Just flew Denpasar to Sydney then caught a Jet Star flight to Brisbane with 26 kg of luggage - had to pay excess straight off. It isn't the amount but the fact that having flown over 100 flights last year (mainly work) on a variety of airlines domestic and international, I was never charged for such a small excess. Is this how Jet Star operates?
