Jetstar are a discount airline & having travelled numerous times with them international & domestic they slog you on anything they can. Even a kilo over & they have charged. I have also flown Garuda & was made to take 1 kilo from my bag & put into my husbands as he was 1 kg under weight. You can imagine at denpasar having to open up all your luggage while a huge queue is building. Not happy!! So my advice... Travel light or be prepared to pay!!!
