Using Credit Card in Bali? Card Skimming

Hi folks, just had a call from my bank, wanting to know whether I needed to cancel my credit card after my trip to SE Asia(eg Bali) in September. Now, I only used it to pay for accomodation at MBR on two occasions, prior and after coming back from Ubud. My question is whether people on the BTF have ever had their Credit Cards skimmed by unscrupulous hotel staff(in any hotels in Bali). I've checked my card on Netbank numerous times since coming back in September, and nothing untoward has happened within my account. Are they paranoid, or does this skimming happen in Bali hotels?
