Hi, I'm a newbie but have been lurking & enjoying this forum for some years now :-)I have been going to bali whenever I can for the past 10 years & have had the honour & privedge of experiencing different ceremonies over the years.
My husband & I are going to bali on the 21st of January and we are intending to explore the island some more, especially the east coast.
We bought a tiger motorbike there last july and are planning to just go north & get lost basically.
I am looking for any information on places to stay in candi dasa & amed or around that area. I have bad knees so can't really climb alot of stairs to get to our room.I'm also interested in places to go & see on the bike in the area. we aren't snorkelling people but are fairly adventurous so any ideas that are land based would be appreciated.
Also does anyone know if we take our bali son as our guide do we pay for his accomodation? Someone told me that the hotel will put him up for the night because he brought us to their hotel but am not sure if this is true?
