Hi, all Bali lovers,
I'm off to Bali, Sanur for the first time next Friday, unfortunately can only stay 3 days.
Will be staying at Mentari Sanur Hotel, can anyone give me information? (How far from the beach? Is it clean? Well, really any information that I should know before going there.
Also, I enjoyed reading a lot of these postings, Bali sounds like a real fun place. I read about Bali Zoo, where is it?.
Things I noted that are a must :-
Bali Zoo, Elephant Park, Monkey forest, (Yes, I adore animals in the natur)
Ubud for shopping, I want to buy a nice wooden Balinese mask and I am a collector of unusual items, especially older things. Any help as to where to look would be greatly appreciated.
A friend of mine who is going with me heard about swimming with the dolphins. I saw that that ia a long way from Sanur. Is it possible to go there and back in one day?
Please let me know if there is anything I really must do, that I haven't thought about.
Time will be my worst enemy but I would hate to come back and realise that I missed something unique.
I read that car hire is very cheap and gasoline prices too. I have a long driving experience and drive in South Korea now over 3 years, where there seems to be no laws or police controls as far as speeding, car lights or traffic lights go. Does anyone have any experience driving in Bali?
