of anything like this??
I had some friends who recently booked accomodation at a Kuta establishment, and pre payed by transferring monies to the account as nominated by the place in question.
The amount payed was the full amount required.
Upon checking out, they were required to pay an extra 400K or so, because "some of the money did not come through".
It was assumed that either the sending or receiving banks had taken a fee.
My friend actually works for the sending bank, and knew that all costs were covered at that end.
Therefore it had to be the receiving bank who took a slice.
As this was the account nominated by the hotel, would it be appropriate for them to factor this cost in at the start, or to wear the cost imposed by their nominated bank??
