Karl the owner of Melka has decided enough is enough and is now distancing himself from constant abuse, remember this is in Bali! His request has been made to the Indonesian Govt to put the licences for Bianco the Orang-utan and the black-faced monkey to another balinese zoo. They will be moved sooner rather than later. One wonders what the fate of these lovely creatures wil be. Bianco is used to humans, being a gentle and cared for creature, regardless of our high expectations. Check out the other Bali zoos they make Melka look 5 star. I stated that I would stay elsewhere for my own feelings but never took umbrage with Melka because I realise they are doing the best they know how. Who suffers again, why its these particular animals. This info has been passed to me by a well informed recent visitor who shares our feelings but doesn't wish to make these lovely animal's life more intolerable. So please think and back off !!
