Is is possible that the animal welfare agencies in Indonesia considered the Melka a 'good option' ?
I ask this with some trepidation as I would hope it not to be the case, but the question still needs asking.
If you like I will head to Peel Zoo this weekend and try and talk to Tony Greenwood myself and get an idea from him on what he would do.
He and his family have lived in Indonesia and Fiji for many years running Zoos and their set up at the Peel Zoo seems to be quite good.
