you have a very strong immortality pact with God. Car hire is easy with International licence but insurance is another matter and filled with grey areas. Be sure to see clear evidence of cover and what you are responsible for. Also unless you have experience in being driven in Bali and some grasp of the idiosyncratic 'rules of the road' better to get a driver - will only cost at most 50.000 more a day.
