Proposing in Bali - any ideas?

Hello, I will be staying in Bali in early February, and my plan is to propose to my girlfriend while staying there. We are staying at the Nusa Dua resort. Does anyone have any suggestions of wonderful and beautiful places to propose (either on the resort grounds or elsewhere)?

Also, should I feel secure leaving the ring in the Nusa Dua hotel safe or should I take additional precautions?
