Will be posting a lengthy description with my personal opinion of the good and not so good of each hotel we stayed at on another forum next week. Some pics included.
In the meantime if anyone is leaving soon and has any questions about the Swastika, Villa Cepik, Tirtu Ayu Homestay (inside the grounds of Tirtagangga Water Palace) or Lumgung Damuh homestay, ask away and i will try to answer.
Honesty:
We always check under the bed and every surface before leaving a hotel room. On the second day of our stay at the Swastika Hotel Sanur we returned to our room after it had been cleaned to find a 50,000 rp note on the bedside cabinet. Obviously put there by the cleaners and found by them within the rumpled bed sheets where i'd been counting money that morning.
But our departure from the Swastika really took the cake. We hired the hotel driver to take us to Candi Dasa. Five minutes after leaving with all our belongings he received a call on his cell phone. Return to the hotel urgently. At the hotel in reception waiting for us was the manager. Smiling and waving my husband's moneybelt. The money belt contained 5 million rp. Found by the room cleaners once again, this time left behind on the dressing table.
One of the many reasons we would stay here again. :)
